Auction is for a Lionel 2257 Southern Pacific Caboose. This is the rare early version from 1947 that is brown and has the smokestack. Often the stack is broken off, but this one is perfect. The shell is nice and clean, in very good to excellent condition with a nice patina and no cracks or chips, major scratches, etc or other problems to describe other than maybe a little dust and small contact marks. It does have just a bit of corrosion on the undercarriage and trucks which can be seen in the pics and could be cleaned off, or easily replaced from a cheap version of this caboose which can be found for less than ten dollars, but I am selling it the way I got it. Pictures have been taken of all sides of the cars so you can see the quality of this auction. It also comes with an original box. This will certainly be a great addition to your collection.
