Joshua Lionel Cowen Series Union Pacific Challenger & 8 Car Consist! is a chance of a life time to bid on this beautiful Joshua Lionel Cowen Series Greyhound Challenger, and Lionel auxiliary water tender item # 6-38008, and 6 lionel double door Boxcars, and one premier MTH 1999 Dap Caboose! Pulling this 8 car consist is one of the most beautiful steam engine ever produced by Lionel! The greyhound Union Pacific Challenger and oil tender is in excellent condition. The boxcars, caboose, and auxiliary water tender are also in excellent condition. The set was used very little, most of the time it was on display on the shelf. This engine has it all from its massive size to small details like opening cab roof hatches, hinged cab deck, add-on piping with twist-style valves, accurate builders plaques and patent-pending see through running boards, to its more hefty details like its accurate, thirty-two inch die-cast boiler and tender and twelve powered drivers, this magnificent locomotive delivers! Equipped with all your favorite exclusive Lionel features, this Challenger takes on all comers and doesn't blink an eye. If you are truly serious about your collection, you cannot be without this locomotive.This engine was upgraded with # TAS-2002 TAS fan driven smoke unit from Train American Studios, The smoke unit works much better! I will send information about the smoke unit. The boxcars are Lionel double door item # 6-17282, these boxcars have auto frame loads inside and die-cast metal sprung trucks, opening doors, brass and die-cast metal detail parts, and a new feature spinning hubs in the wheels. The caboose is a premier extended vision caboose, MTH Union Pacific item # 20-80001c. This caboose was produced as a dealer appreciation program in 1999 ! One of the rails on the stairs had broken on the auxiliary tender, I reglued it. The set comes with all the original styrofoam packaging and boxes,and manuals. I don't ship international!
