This Lionel 260E Engine and 260W tender are in Gunmetal. They are in beautiful condition. The engine comes with its original box which is in beautiful condition and very square. The graphics on the box are beautiful. The engine and tender could be re-painted. I have had a few collectore look at the engine at a TCA meet and of those members asked some thought it was not painted and some thought it was. So, if this is a re-paint it is one tremendous job. So just to be safe and not mis-represent this assume it is re-painted. If it is not then you will get your money's worth here! some of the wheels have been replaced and I showed that in the photos.The engine's rear red light works but the engine did not run. I took apart the engine and noticed that a wire was disconnected. I did not have a wiring book so I could not figure out where it had become disconnected from. I'm sure it is just a simple fix but I will leave that to the new owner. The wheels turn freely and the engine is in supurb condition.
