This is the Lionel Standard Gauge Hiawatha Set #6-13004, Complete with Locomotive, Tender and 4 Passenger cars that came out in limited numbers in 2001. I am the original owner and have maintened the set in Like New Condition. I have run it but never abused it. Since I moved in 2005 it has mostly lived in its boxes, being unpacked and run occasionally. It still has all of the original boxes and wrappers and the original shipping cartons. I had planned to build a large layout to run it on, but it looks like I will never get the layout built, so I have regretfully decided to sell it. I tested it and ran great in Conventional Mode but my batteries in my Command Control unit had corroded, so I had a friend test it with his Command Control System, and he said it worked fine. To me, it never smoked very much, but I am used to American Flyer engines that smoke much more than Lionel engines, so I guess that is normal. After moving, I can no longer find the instruction book but its operation seems pretty basic. This Very Large and Heavy Set is in TWO Large, Heavy Boxes so I estimate Shipping and insurance to be $89.00. Local Pick-Up is always an option. The Commodore Vanderbilt Set that I sold last year cost $129.00 to ship, so I may be losing money to ship for $89.00. If you are nearby, you can contact me for a shipping update. The Chinese Boxes are not as sturdy as Postwar Lionel Boxes and some of the seams have been re-glued, but the inserts do a great job of protecting the trains!! You do not see these very often!!
