Quality work is NEVER an accident, but the result of high intentions and a sincere effort. Having serviced Lionel transformers for almost 30 years for some of the finest Chicago area hobby shops, you are assured of receiving a fully functional transformer, check my feedback! Selling and reparing of transformers is my specialty! Here's another clean KW that that is very quiet because I took the time to install the coil laminations correctly as Lionel never did! Both rollers were replaced using a Lionel rivet press and both roller holders were aligned to a clean secondary coil maintaining a 'air gap" between the moving arms. Max. voltage output 19.3 indicating all coil laminations are CLEAN, 24.9 when using whistle! The power cord also was replaced and if any terminal posts were loose or non-conducting, they were replaced w/solid rivet types! The bulb cover was replaced w/later TRANSLUCENT red so it will be easier to spot should the circuit breaker open and even the circuit breaker was replaced. Both handles are original, "A & B" caps are original, nameplate is original and I would grade about a "9", 10 being new, it is not perfect! The rectifier disc was replaced w/12amp. diode, whistle/horn signal is better than originally issued by Lionel!
