The original owner of these cars was a collector who purchased duplicates on occasion and rarely, if ever, took the items out of the boxes. The trains we are selling from this point forward are being sold as 'used' -- some have been put to track, some have not. These cars were stored in a basement or cellar and have a distinct mildew smell. If you are sensitive, please do not bid. This batch are in their original boxes but some have flaws, which will be listed and pictured when necessary. This particular car is more like the 'new' ones we listed last week. No obvious flaws that I can find. Condition : Train car is in original box with no bag. As far as we know, since we are not train people, the couplers are in working order. The car is in original box. It was taken out in order to take the photo and carefully put back in. Box is somewhat scuffed and lightly edgeworn.
