THIS IS A TRAIN HIGHLIGHT FOR EBAY THIS WEEK! LIONEL POST-WAR 2354 NEW YORK CENTRAL F-3 A-A UNITS, IN MINT+ CONDITION WITH ORIGINAL BOXES, AND THE RARE MASTER CARTON! Spectacular matching pair! NEW YORK CENTRAL 2354 F-3 A-A Units, in matching fresh from the factory condition! What makes these Mint+ engines so special are the awesome roofs, original perfect decals, crisp heat-stamped lettering, and totally un-run! AND THE WHITE PIN-STRIPING ON THE SIDES ARE VERY CLEAR AND BRIGHT. YOU USUALLY SEE THEM WITH MISSING SECTIONS OR DULL FROM TOUCHING WITH FINGERS OR BOX RUB!ALSO THE SET COMES WITH EXTRA PAPERWORK AND EXTREMELY HIGH-GRADE BOXES AND THE MASTER CARTON. The nose decals are original and 100% intact and the nicest I have seen. **Kindly look at the photos. The sides of the trains are matching and bright-colored. Heat-stamped lettering and numbers are not smeared and are crisp, clear, and original. Fantastic noses and roofs that are pristine and matching.****Please look at the photos! The two “A” units have magnificent frame pilots. No rust or corrosion on original horns, ladders or battery cover. Dated instructions, original Lionel wrapping paper, and inspection sticker . A big plus is the original Lionel waxed wrapping paper, the 1953 Lionel Pocket Catalog in a grade 10, the 1953-54 Lionel Service Station Manual, and the 1953 “How To Wire Your Railroad” Booklet. This set also has extremely high-grade boxes with original inserts! Original box 2354-25 is a grade 10. Original box 2354-50 is a grade 9 and has all flaps intact, with no writing, and just small scotch tape on 1 hinge. This can be removed with hair-dryer. Maybe you would grade it a 8/9! The original box inserts are a grade 9-10 The rare 2354-51 Master Carton is a grade 9 to 9/10, and is a brick with perfect flaps, no handwriting, and hard to find in this condition.. Again, kindly look at the photos of the boxes! This magnificent high-end New York Central pair is definitely for the display shelf or to build an expensive set.
