PLEASE READ: My cousin passed on and I was asked to handle this part of the Estate. This note will appear on all auctions regarding this collection. Every piece was purchased by my cousin or his parents and most are One Owner Pieces. I know very little about grading and Lionel Post War Trains. There were a couple of friends who belonged to the TCA who spent a short time looking at most pieces and gave their opinions. Their appraisal of each piece has been passed along in each auction. Pricing and information was based on their input, “Lionel Trains Library”, Internet photos with prices, eBay, etc, that were similar to and some hard research. I have tested a few, although all were worked before packing in 1991. I believe the description I give is fair and accurate, but each has their own opinion in grading, so let the PHOTOS, not the descriptions be the neutral guide and the basis for your decision. MOST ARE IN EXCELLENT PLUS CONDITION. Some only need to have some dust removed as shown in photos, and with some careful dust cleaning, they will have a more beautiful appearance.
