Up for sale is one Post War Lionel #6464-300 Rutland Solid Door Boxcar in good condition. Sorry, no original box. The car is nice -- solid with no cracks, chips or breaks. Original body, repro doors, New stamped steel frame. Has a some paint touch-up which is hardly noticeable All lettering is bright, clear and legible. Car rates a solid C-5. Yellow plastic body with green painted ends, roof and lower half of the sides. Stamped lettering. Two sliding doors. On a nice new stamped steel frame. Metal wheels and axles with diecast side frames. Very little rust on the nos door tracks. Trucks and couplers are rust-free. Two operating metal couplers. From 1955-1956, All in all, a nice car for over 50 years old to add to your 6464 roster. Will display well, or use it as a runner on your traditional Lionel layout. Lots of value for a low starting price! This is a nice car that will look great in your collection or on your layout.
