ORIGINAL, COMPLETE RIGHT DOWN TO THE TUBE OF LUBRICANT, AND IN MINT+ AND UN-RUN CONDITION! THIS SET HAS THE RARE 1958 746 ENGINE AND 746W TENDER BOTH IN IMMACULATE UN-RUN CONDITION. THE CORRECT VERSION OF THE TENDER FOR THIS SET, WAS THE SHORT STRIPE VERSION.THE ENGINE AND TENDER HAVE THE ORIGINAL FACTORY LUSTER. THIS ENGINE AND TENDER ARE NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND MINT+ UN-RUN, WITH THE ORIGINAL PATINA. THE 746 ENGINE AND THE 746 TENDER ARE IN PRISTINE BLACK, WITH A MAGNIFICENT PATINA. THIS WAS ONE OF THE LARGEST SETS FOR LIONEL’S 1958 YEAR AND SUPPOSEDLY THE “PREMIER SET” FOR 1958 TO HIT THE SUPER “O” TRACK! THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST TO FIND IN UN-RUN CONDITION, WITH ALL OF THE PAPERWORK, AND MANY EXTRAS. THIS IS NOT A PUT-TOGETHER SET. IT IS ALL ORIGINAL, WITH ALL OF THE BOXES MATCHING IN COLOR. The heat-stamped lettering is bold and crisp. There is no corrosion on the pickup arms, rollers or shiny metal parts. The freight cars are as follows: The 6805 Atomic Energy Disposal Car has a pristine very bright red flat, with bright white and sharp heat-stamped lettering. THE HANDLES ON THE 2 DISPOSAL WASTE CANISTERS ARE PERFECT AND NOT CRACKED. The track shows no corrosion or rust. The car is Mint+ and un-run. The 3356 Operating Horse Car and Corral Set is complete and pristine. It even has the original full packet. The car has deep and crisp yellow heat-stamped lettering. This car is also Mint+ and un-run. It comes with the original 3356 box of horses, and the sealed 3356-79 packet. The original corral is bright white and un-used. The 3361X Lumber Car with numbers stamped to the right of “Lionel Lines”. The flat has the original logs, which is very rare, as they were easily lost and replaced. The flat is flawless. The flat has rich black heat-stamped lettering. The car also comes with the 160 unloading bin. This car is also Mint+ and un-run. The 6430 Trailer Flat Car with the 2 original bright-white “Cooper-Jarrett” vans. The vans have the original metal logo plates on the sides. The flat car and the original vans are all a grade 10 and immaculate, with no scratches or damage. The flat has bright white heat-stamped lettering. Again the car is Mint+ and un-run. Next is the 6424 Automobile Flat Car with 2 original pristine autos. The heat-stamped white lettering is bright and crisp. This car is also Mint+ and un-run. The set also has the 6557 “Sp-Type” Smoking Caboose in pristine condition. It has bright-white heat-stamped lettering. The caboose is Mint+ and un-run.
