This auction is for an early postwar #671 O-Gauge 6-8-6 Steam Turbine Engine. It is the 1947 version of the #671, which has solid rims on all of the drive wheels. The locomotive is in good condition, though there are some locations on the body where the paint has chipped. It still runs quite smoothly in both directions, and the switch on top is still functioning properly. The tender which came with it originally is included and also in very good condition. There is a red decal on the very front of the engine which reads "6200" which is intact though has begun to peel slightly on the right side. The front light works perfectly, and the train can still produce smoke. This antique would make an excellent addition to any Lionel collection!
