You are bidding on an original Lionel Post War Number 53 Rio Grande Snowplow in very good to excellent condition. This exciting motorized unit provides the kind of action and realism every train layout show have. It was just recently tested and works great! It has the backwards "a" in Rio Grande. As you can see from the photos there are no holes anywhere and the paint and lettering are in pretty good shape. It does have some scratches and the window struts have been replaced. The trucks have no rust. The car is 7 1/2" long. This car was made by Lionel from 1957 to 1960. It has been in my collection for over twenty years.
