This auction is for early Postwar #681 Big 6-8-6 STEAM TURBINE ENGINE ...This is the postwar 1950Version with solid sintered iron rims on ALL Eight drive wheels + Plus Magnatraction for improved pulling power ... in Excellent condition...Great Paint, practically no chips or rubs and has that great nice Lionel satin black patina , this is the early version with the Hand Rubber -Stamped numbers on the cab sides , the Pennsylvania 6200 Red Keystone on the boiler-front intact , still has the fragile Paper instruction label inside the Cab roof....No dents , dings or missing Parts...all steps/ladders intact., but look to have been repaired - good solid job , ..shows only minor wear on the contact rollers ...this big Locomotive has been fully tested and RUNS Excellent ! ...Smooth and Strong , both in Fwd. & Reverse , good Magnatraction , three position E-Unit cycles Correctly...Headlight works and the Smoke unit puffs out a nice cloud ... a Classic vintage LIONEL Locomotive ... will come to you fully charged w/ smoke and ready-to-run ...
