This is a Lionel pre-war 1938-42 1666E Steam Engine, gunmetal gray. Runs good forward-N-reverse, Headlight also works. Cowcatcher/steamchest may have been replaced. Looks as though someone may have ground inside of steamchest were motor mounts (see pictures), but not sure why. looks ok. Very little rust, smooth runner. Being sold as is.
