Up for auction LIONEL PRE-WAR MICKEY/MINNIE HANDCAR #1100 W/BOX (1935) . The box in overall very good condition. The base of the box has all original staples with with one tear, all corners are intact. The box cover has two corners that have torn but nothing missing. Edges of box cover show ware, a few soil spots are present, graphics are still bright and sharp. Inside the box are the original dividers to separate the items in excellent condition. You have 8 pieces of curved track in excellent condition with no rust present. The handcar is in excellent condition and fully working bell and mechanism and the elusive wind-up key. Mickey and Minnie's arms pump as they should, the figures paint is bright and in excellent condition, Minnie has what appears to be a crack on her dress (view pic) but not sure if it was manufactured that way or this developed over time. Tails are present and complete on both figures. There is no rust present on the handcar or any major scratches. There are a few scuffs barely visible. The handcar appears to have had very little run time judging from the wheels. The lever that stop and starts the toy is fully functional. The signage on the side of the handcar baring the toy name number and manufacturer is in excellent condition. A very clean and complete toy for it's age a true high grade item.
