Lionel Prewar 226e "Baby Hudson" Steam Engine . 1938-1941??? I am told this is the largest prewar steam engine Lionel made. A beautiful engine that I have had for 30 years.(Stored in a box). I am not an expert and I'm trying to represent the piece as accurately as I can. There is no rust. It has been recently serviced. There is some paint ware on top back of cab. Also it appears some ware marks may have been touched up on the lower portion of the engine housing. The bell has been replaced Both Jewels are intact The flag holders on front of engine are missing The plates on side of the cab "226E Lionel Lines" are not real sharp. One is better than the other This is a very nice engine for running or display. Thanks for checking out my auction.Have a great day.
