Lionel prewar scale nyc hudson steam engine, produced in 1937 and loaded with detail. Without a doubt the most iconic engine ever produced by lionel and the most sort after gem of all collections in O gauge. This is is single owner item, when I picked it up it was in a display case with some matchbox cars. The engine itself is in really nice shape, no breaks, no warping of the boiler....VERY IMPORTANT. All original paint and lettering. I see no dents, only some light rubbing along the edge of the running board. Cow catcher appears to be original production as is the front scale coupler. The very tip of the grasp part of the coupler has a chip and the boiler door doesnt snap shut...thats about the only bad things I can say about the engine. I would rate it c7. The tender is the same story all original paint and lettering, perfect straight shell and frame..NO WARPING. This is the 1937 model so there is no pick-up roller but the original tether to power the whistle. The tender has no dents or breaks but does have some scratches on the sides and rates a nice c6. I brought this baby home and put her on the track, she fired up immediately, runs super smooth and strong in both directions, e-unit cycles every time. wonderful looker and runner. I wish I could keep this beauty, the 700e has always been a favorite of mine, would look great next to my 773. Unfortunetely some other lucky fella will own this one. Dont miss it.... I also have the 715 tank car that came with this 1937 hudson freight set listed this week and will combine shipping!

I have been selling in an auction environment for about 10 years now using other ebay accounts as well as other internet mediums. My track record has been perfect to date with 0 negative feedbacks so ! I am a model railroader and have purchased numerous trains and miniatures on line and know the importance of careful packing and timely shipping. When I buy something new I am very anxious to receive it. I try to supply the exact service that I would want as a buyer. I know how delicate certain details and parts are. Your carefully packaged item will reflect this!Shipping: Your item will be carefully packaged and wrapped and mailed out to you within 2 days of the auctions end. I try to get to the post office at least 3 to 4 times a week so chances are your item will be out to you and in the mail The next day! I will combine shipping rates on multiple purchases ending with that same week to save you Money! Combined shipping rates are 40% to 50% of the original rate depending on the weight for each additional item. Insurance: I try and give the option of adding insurance as to keep shipping cost to a minimum.... God knows the post office is pricey to begin with! However on heavier items and more expensive items Insurance will now be Mandatory and already worked into the standard shipping cost. I apologize if this affects the final cost but according to eBaY policy it is a necessity!
