Minnesota's Largest Buyer of Classic Trains & Toys Now For Sale: Lionel Prewar #53 Lamps Here is a Prewar batch of Lamps from Steve's Train City in Minnesota. We just purchased it in the family train collection from Cully the original owner. This is an auction of the #53 Lamps in two shades of Cream. The paint is original and they just have minor nicks and chips. The bulbs may be reproductions and two of the three work. Lionel made these in 1931-42 and they are about 8 3/4" tall. These lamps have #53-1 stamped into the bottom. We are grading them Excellent. These lamps have a rarity rating of 3 on the scale of 5. Look at the quality in the pictures and consider them this week. We are listing them reasonable and without a reserve. Shipping: Shipping and insurance is $13.69.
