Lionel prewar O-gauge black #1664 2-4-2 steam engine with #1689T tender. Produced from 1938 to 1942. Engine is approximately 10 inches long. Engine is black with silver metal handrails, bell and simulated whistle. Tender is black with number 1689T. Tender has latch coupler and black journals. There are very few scratches on the engine or tender. The lights work and it runs well although with a little oil and maintenance it might run even better. The engine and tender appear to be in excellent condition. I am not an expert so please carefully review the photos to determine condition for yourself. This is from the estate of Lewis K English who was a collector of model trains and related items, especially pre-war Lionel.
