Offered is a exceptional set, very rare and the trains are in Like New Condition. Take your time to read the listing and look at the photos.

Offered is what most collectors consider a Very Rare Pre-war "O" gauge set.

This is the 1940, 1099 Work Train with 164 Lumber Loader.

The Set box is very strong with a very nice label but that one flaw. Randy's Toy shop can fix that very easy, we spoke. I lowered the price to reflect his repair. The box has all its flaps and is quite strong.

The 1940 Catalog is marked with the F.A.O. Schwarz, 745 5th Ave. NY and in full Excellent condition

The Lionel Instructions Manual is in excellent plus Condition.

The Set has the original Inspection sticker #9251 - Excellent

The Set has the Lionel Factory Service Station Manual

The 164 Loader is in Excellent condition the OB is a brick, really nice, it has the original controller and box insert with instructions. Also comes with a 160 bin.

There is a very rare 164-64 Set of Logs in its original Box - like new - one end has tape on the inside flap

There is a very rare "Tube of Lionel Oil" in the original Set Box Tube - see photos

Trains:

The 1666 is Excellent to Excellent + the OB does have tape on some flaps and the original Insert - also 2 taped areas.

The 2689W tender is in excellent condition with its box, pretty strong but some tape, no insert.

There are 3 3651 Lumber cars, 2 are in Like new Condition one is Excellent Plus. Two of the boxes are supper strong, nice and I think the inserts are original.

One 3651 box is excellent and has some tape. All have instructions and 160 Lumber Bins.

The 2657 caboos is like new and the box is supper nice.

There are 3, 1019 Remote Control Tracks all with strong boxes, ONE box has one loose end flap as shown in the photos.

This set came with a set of 1121 switches which seem to be Like New, the box was very tight so when I opened one end I decided not to take the switchs out and risk dammaging the box.

It comes with its boxed Transformer (75 Whatt) and 5 Stright Track. I have no clue what happened to the curves - I guess they were not saved in the box to prevent damage.

It has a 812 Set Box of tools with 2 tools - the chrome is pealing on these.

The Contents Box does have all its flaps and has the Track Clips, a small tube of oil and a track lockon in really nice condition.

As you know this is a very rare set that is seldom seen or seen for sale.

It is in "very nice" collectable condition as I feel the photos show - it displays well and is quite clean - you will be happy to add this to your collection.
