Here is a beautifully restored Blue Comet Set, No. 194W, made in 1938 and 1939. The set called for a baggage car 2615, a passenger car 2613 and the observation car 2615. Included here is a second 2613. The engine is the 263E with a 263"W" tender. There is no whistle in the tender though it has roller contacts and I suppose a whistle could be added. All cars have automatic box couplers, but the tender does not. The lights in the cars work as do those in the engine, the headlight and the firebox light. The engine works fine in either direction. This is a great looking set and will look very nice on display or on your layout. There are no boxes. I will refund any excess shipping costs.Please watch for my other listings of Prewar and Postwar trains in the next few weeks. I will be selling a large part of my collection.
