Lionel standard gauge train set #40. Very early type original box has damaged corners but is not missing any. Very nice conditioned decal on box cover. Engine # 38 has original paint and markings. Photos show chipped paint from age and wear. Engine does not run but turns over smoothly. Good wheels. Needs to be cleaned and lubricated. All cars have original paint and markings. Two #35 pullmans and one #36 observation. All cars have good window shades. One of the pullmans (photo #2) and the observation have a white paint spot on them. New owner can remove if desired. 12 photos show conditions. I have other early cars for sale this week. Take a look if you like. Thanks. Box measures 18 inches wide, 20 inches long, 4 3/4 inches deep.
