This is another Lionel engine with the famous Daylight color scheme. The GS-2 was the engine prior to the more famous GS-4. They are almost identacle except the GS4 has Mars headlights. It looks just as good pulling the cars Lionel made in the 80's as the GS4 does. The engine features die-cast metal construction, operating headlight, Magna-traction, operating smoke stack and steam chests. It also has many other features as well. The tender has steam railsounds, six wheel die-cast trucks, volume control, and die-cast nuckler coupler. The box has a little water damage on one end but the engine and tender have never been run just put on the tracks for testing. It has all the original instructions and smoke fluid. This is another beautiful piece for your Daylight collection.
