This auction is for a Prewar Lionel Standard Gauge No.212 Gondola. This car was made in the late 1920's. It is part of the estate of my late husband. It is maroon with brass trim and nickel journals. We bought it at Cal Stewart in Santa Clara in March of 1981. It iscomplete. It is all metal and the base measures 121/2" long. I see one small ding and a few scratches, mostly on one side. I believe it is completely original. I am a member of TCA and have described this item to the best of my ability. The photos should tell you all.
