This is a very early Lionel No.38 electric Locomotive. It is the red version, but paint is poor. The engine does run in forward and reverse, but the wiring is very bad and I had to connect to the Manual reverse switch to get it to run. Missing some trim work on top and the door handrails. The mounting holes for the Handrails have been filled in?? No Couplers. Wheels are very good.The metal is very good.We do not charge for packing or handling!!
