Up for auction is a Lionel Standard Gauge, early passenger set consisting of a #18, #19, #190 cars. This set is nice for being as old as it is, I believe Lionel stopped embossing cars around 1918 so these cars could be earlier or right around the 1918 time period. All of the cars are complete with original doors, air tanks, couplers, door handles, and trucks. Two of the cars the #19 Combine and the #190 Observation car have people pins in the seats. They all have the scroll type matching lettering and the paint seems to be a good match on all the cars. They all have some window material and I am not sure it is all original. There is some window material missing, in some of the doors and in the oval windows in the #19 car.#18 Parlor Car has various scratches, and chips in the paint, it is the nicest of three cars as far as paint goes. The scroll "Parlor Car" lettering on the sides is good, but the "New York Central Lines" lettering along the top of the windows is there but not very visible. One end of the car is lettered with" No.18 Lionel Lines NY NY made in U.S.A." The trucks are nice corrosion free but could use a bit of cleaning. Window material looks complete and could be original.
