For auction is a 1938 Lionel standard scale train set. with all the boxes that came with it when it was new. The large box that holds the whole set has some tape reinforcement and one of the accessory boxes has the lid torn off. The cars have lights and are metal. The accessory boxs are ok except to the torn one, note the paper is disintegrating on the whistle control. The body on the locomotive had to be professionaly replaced with original Lionel parts except for the front boiler latch, due to the metal growing and self distructing. The rest of the train set is original and looks like new.
