Lionel Stock Certificate 1st Issue 1946 ORANGE ~ Cowen Imprinted signature! This is one of the truly classic postwar Lionel stock certificates! Offered is the very scarce orange less than 100 shares first issue "old boy" prewar vignette original Lionel stock certificate dated May 17, 1946-- with the imprinted signatures of Mario Caruso (even after he left the company!) and Joshua Lionel Cowen, founder of The Lionel Corporation. The condition overall is excellent-, with a minor soft vertical storage fold. It has a corner crease at the bottom right and left and a hidden 1" tear in the border at the left bottom; the certificate has brilliant color and terrific centering. This is a premium piece and in nice condition for this tough certificate from the early postwar era. This certificate could be framed and would be a nice display item, offered without reserve!
