Vintage Lionel Train ‘ #6827 Power Shovel Flat Car’ & ‘ #6827-100 Power Shovel’ w/original box’s ‘1960-1963’..... NIB? Recently, I came upon several cartons of Vintage Lionel Trains , accessories and components, which have been stored "indoors" within a climate controlled residential environment. These trains individually boxed and accessories were gifts to me from when I was a child. To the best of my knowledge all this stuff has been boxed up and untouched for the past 45+ years. These are the real deal!! This particular item is (2) components. 1 st is #6827 Power Shovel Flat Car . 2 nd is # 6827-100 Power Shovel (see photos). These were mfg. by Lionel between 1960-1963. Both appear to be NIB and have not been assembled or played with. However, they have dust on them from either the boxes being open at some point in time or for some other reason unknown to me. The P&H Power Shovel has its cable (string) and supports “unassembled”......therefore I assume this is how it was sold. Also the original band is still in place which holds the Power Shovel Box to the Flat Car (see photo). The Trains imprecise dimensions are.... length 10 inches....width 2 inches.
