It features super detailed die-cast metal locomotive and tender, operating smoke stack and steam chest, operating headlight, operating fire glow box, electronic RailSounds, remotely activated by a standard Lionel transformer, this includes the steam chug while the L-3 is under power, a steam release hiss while stopping and at rest and a low haunting whistle and steady tolling bell sound, powerful AC Pullmor for long trains, spoked drivers with metal wheels, operates on O-72 0-54 & 0-42 radius layouts, metal handrails on the engine and tender, remote controlled forward-neutral-reverse operation, retractable coupler on pilot, opening boiler front for headlamp service, operating die-cast metal knuckle coupler on the tender, tender features six wheel die-cast metal trucks, highly detailed coal load, locomotive and tender measure over 28" long, authentic New York Central markings, metal wheels on the pliot and trailing trucks, as well as both six wheel tender trucks.
