Description of fully functioning unit: Transformer controlled forward, neutral, and reverse operation Locomotive has operating headlight and puffing smoke; air whistle in the tender Locomotive features die-cast metal locomotive body and frame Operating couplers on rolling stock and on rear of tender Passenger cars feature interior lighting and silhouettes in windows Powerful maintenance-free motor, two traction tires, and separately applied metal handrails This came to us with a group of other train sets that were customer returns to a big online retailer. Most have worked fine. In this particular set we tested the power transformer and the locomotive engine as those are the two most expensive parts (we have a track set up for testing them out!). Both the transformer and the locomotive work fine . The other cars and tracks were not tested. The set appears to have hardly been used. This set is in overall excellent condition. Includes what is shown in the photos - all pieces seem to be accounted for.
