Offered for your consideration is the Lionel Postwar 2056 Engine and Whistle Tender. MADE IN AMERICA in the mid 1950's this locomotive is in good condition showing the usual playware. When tested, the engine operated forward-neutral-reverse, the smoke unit worked fine, the headlight illuminated and the whistle functioned properly. Both marker lights are intact. The E-unit did stick when cycling, so it will need to be cleaned. Also, there is a crack in the rear of the tender shell (see pictures). This could probably be repaired so that it's hardly visible. One of the tender steps is also broken. This is a nice heavy engine and it would make a nice addition to your Postwar collection. Please look at the pictures carefully as they are a vital part of the description. I'll answer any questions as best I can. Although I make a point of describing my trains fairly, all old trains and accessories are sold AS IS regardless of appearance. I am human and some minor imperfections may be missed.
