TCA Member-07-61377 This auction is for a Lionel Type 1033 90 Watt Transformer w/Repro Box. Work I did on this transformer includes: -bottom plate sanded and painted - a new cord - replaced rectifier disc with 6 amp diode - cleaned the coil - cleaned the case - tested circuit breaker which worked properly The variable voltages are: A-U- 2.3-18.3 Whistle-25.6 Direction-0.9 B-U- 0.2-12.4 Whistle-19.7 Direction-0.5 The constant voltages are: A-B- 5.4 B-C- 12.5 A-C- 18.3 I tested this on my Lionel 2046W-50 tender and it operated the tender whistle and engine. It is possible that this 1033 will not operate newer whistles. It will only operate my Lionel 1900 engine tender when in neutral. The voltages are correct for post war trains. I guarantee the transformers I sell and will pay return postage if there is a problem.
