DESCRIPTION: This is a vintage Azimuth made by the Lionel Corporation, I believe in 1942. Amazing the quality and workmanship of this great item. Comes in its' original wooden box. These were used with compasses I think they would find a star and with the angle and measurement they could tell they position better. Anyway this is a great piece of Navel history and a wonderful addition to your collection. CONDITION: Sorry I do not know very much about this item. Please look at the pictures. What you see is what you get. If there is anything missing I have no idea. The box looks to be in very good condition, there are some scratches and what looks to have been a sticker on the top. There is light paint wear on the Azimuth around the edges. Overall an excellent piece for being 70 years old. TERMS: Please ask any questions and I will answer as soon as possible.
