Overview: Up for auction is this superb Japanese woodblock by famed artist, Tomikichiro Tokuriki (1902-2000), one of Japan's premier print artists of the 20th century. This block is the well-known "Nikko Toshogu Shrine," which depicts the Toshogu Shrine in Nikko, north of Tokyo, one of the most sacred and historic shrines in all of Tokyo and the final resting place of Ieyasu. The print comes without matting or frame.

Condition: The woodblock is in good to very good condition. There is moderate creasing at upper right and a very minor crease at upper left. Please see the photos. It should display nicely once matted and framed.

Measurements: The overall print size measures approximately 16 inches wide x 11.25 inches high. Image measures approximately 15 inches wide x 10.375 inches high.
