Up for auction is a 8x 10 inch oil on canvas board painting titled "Eucalyptus Trees California. The painting is nicely framed and ready to hang. .Dennis Westerling is a third generation Californian, He was born in 1944 in the San Joaquin Valley. He worked in the construction industry as a mason for 20 years before taking up oil painting. He is known for his plein-air paintings of Southern California landscapes.In 1990, he attended the Walter Emerson Baum School of Art in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Moving to Los Angeles he became a student of the noted California artist, Michael Dancer. In Southern California he was a member of the Beverly Hills Art League, and the Los Angeles Businessman's Art Institute and is a Painting Patron Member of the California Art Club. He is currently living in Marysville California. He has won a number of awards including Best of Show at the Burbank Art Association Fall Show in 2003.
