Listed French artist Andre Verger, 1912-1990. This oil painting, painted on a brown paper board. The style shows the influence of the impressionist movement of the previous century, and captures the light and movement of a Paris street. The style is unusual as it was under painted with pastel before the application of the oil colors. The finish is completely matte, and the colors are vibrant and intense. Art dimensions: 11'wide x 9'high. This artist is listed in Akoun, with auction records for his work between $750 to $1200. The frame is a small gold leaf molding with ribbon and beaded detail.
