This is a great looking colorful harbor scene, done in 1949, by the well listed and well trained Indiana artist, Frederick W. Rigley, a member of the Hoosier Salon. He was a student of Emile Gruppe and John Carlson, and studied art at the Art Student's League. He was an important and well known figure in Indiana art, also spent time in Florida, with the Ringling School of Art.....The piece is nicely framed, probably the original frame, and the paper looks to be in wonderful condition. The size of the image is 12 1/2 X 16 1/4 , and signed lower left and dated '49. The frame measures approx. 22 1/2 X 26 1/2. No reserve, low starting price, and as always, money back if not 100% happy. good luck.
