This 2 CD set contains the original 44 minute recording of John Wayne by Bill Kelly, August 8, 1978 at Wayne's Newport Beach home. The second CD in PDF format contains the complete written interview with embedded copies of 21 original color photographs taken of Wayne during the actual interview. This project is a tribute to both the "Duke" and Bill Kelly. Offered exclusively for sale, only on eBay! This is an incredible John Wayne collector's item both for oneself or as a gift for the John Wayne fan. CD 1 The Recorded Interview The CD contains a 44 minute copy of the original John Wayne interview conducted by author Bill Kelly. The original recording has been digitally remastered by a professional sound engineer. The recorded interview is not complete as we have not been able to locate the complete recording. This recording contains about two thirds of the original recorded interview based on the length of the written interview.This CD can be played on any CD player including your car, computer, or surround sound. CD 2 The Written Interview This CD contains the entire written interview which was first published in March, 1979, about three months before the "Dukes" passing. Much but not all of the recording was written up by Bill Kelly. Fascinating material, to be sure, for the Wayne collector to hear and then see what author Bill Kelly decided to include in the written interview. The large color photographs of Wayne, and the interview rooms, and setting makes for a very rare collector's item. The copies are of the original photographs made from Bill Kelly's own files. You won't find anything like this anyw in the world. A true must have for the Wayne collector. This CD will play on any computer and is in PDF format.
