Meredith & Co."written on side of building----- Note: Auto & Street cars will provide clues to time reference Picture of two horses (separate) No writing under either horse Know that this 1800s form of printing utilized an oil and water process-the stones frequently incorporated multiple unrelated subjects i.e. Meredith Market, Bank and the Two Horses on one side/Olson Rug Company on the other side Stone measures 3 1/2" high--7 1/2" wide--5 1/2" deep and is very heavy weighing 12 3/4 lbs Hard to find item-Fantastic collectible with historic interest Excellent condition for age--There is a grooved scratch (approximately 1/2" long) running along the hind quarter of the top horse (as shown in picture) Graphics on both sides of this very old form of printing are outstandingCheck out our other items !
