You are bidding on Elegant Bronze Bust of a Young Boy on an Exquisite, Marron Emperador Brown Marble Base in excellent condition. The statue is real cast bronze, not a resin, plaster or plastic mixture. The statue is truly more amazing in person than I am able to capture in the photographs. Please view my feedback for my customer's delight with their purchases. The Statue is signed Fix Masseau. Pierre Felix Masseau (March 17, 1869 - 1937 ) was a noted French Sculptor. He was borned in Lyons and studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris. He formed part of the French Decorative Art Movement, creating objects such as vases and chandeliers in the Art Nouveau style. Fix Masseau exhibitied numerous works at the Salons de Artistes Francais and the Societe Nationale des Beaux Arts and was widely respected for his portrait busts.
