Design: Miniature Dodo Edition No 40 (2012) An original hand crafted design by British Ceramic Artist Tracy Wright from Zoo Ceramics Mini Dodo Side View and Group Description: Miniature dodo sculpture, modelled and carved on a sphere shaped body. Artist's statement: I specialise in making large sculptural birds, but it is fun to work on a miniature range. The little dodos, penguins and puffins have a "Disney" like charm and are very expressive. I feel like I am working in a toy shop when I put all their body parts together. Size: 12.5 cm high by 11cm wide at the side and 9cm front the front view. Colour: Cream glazed body with brown and blue sprayed on top and rutile and brown iron oxide details. Material: Stoneware fired ceramic to 1260 degrees. Range: 3 Designs available: Dodo, Penguin and Puffin.
