In excellent condition two 3 1/4 inch tall bisque dolls made in Germany of LITTLE ORPHAN ANNIE and DADDY WARBUCKS. Both are nodder dolls. However, Daddy Warbuck's head does not nod. It has been stuck in place many years ago.Little Orphan Annie was created by Harold Gray as a newspaper comic and first appeared on August 5, 1924.I will be putting up several other bisque cartoon characters from the 1920's and 1930's such as Uncle Willie, Andy Gump, Emmy, Herby, Moon Mullins and Kayo, Smitty, Disney's The Three Little Pigs, Snow White and others. The seller prefers PayPal© but will also accept a MONEY ORDER or a BANK CASHIER'S CHECK. No personal checks. Shipping for this early part of the history of newspapers will be via Priority Mail at $6.00 with optional insurance at $2.00.
