Live Steam Engine Compond. Here is a very well made compound engine , I think it is early I guess about 1930s . runs well on about 40 pounds of pressure very smooth. Here is the size. It has a wooden base of 7 ½ “ X 6” .It stands 10 ½” high .fly wheel is 3”. From valve chest to valve chest 8 ¼ “.Cylinder cover’s are 2½” and 3 ½ “. The stroke is 1 ½ “ . it is fitted with two control steam valves one when made and the other a add on along with a inline oiler .cylinders’ are wood clad and have top oilers with taps.the whole of the engine is made from brass with steel rod pillars. It's weight is 5.10 kg without packing so this will be high on the postage £18.00 or you are welcome to pick up in person. Thanks for looking and good luck with your bid.
