You are looking at a new without tags pair of Karhu "sliding snowshoes" marketed by LL Bean. The seller bought these with all intentions of using them, then sustained a leg injury that prevented him from doing so. They have been in storage for a couple of years, but never used.

These unique, stable sliding snowshoes feature a Positrack no-wax base, which grips in one direction for traction as you climb and glide in the other direction for a smooth descent. Metal edges give you more control on harder snow. Great for recreational snowshoers looking for climbing power and a fun, stable glide on flat or rolling terrain. They are 120 cm long and wider than typical skis. These are a fresh approach that expands the traditional free-heel market – no special boot and binding combination are needed .
