No reserve on this auction. Bid with confidence, I've been trading on eBay for over 7 years and have 100% positive feedback. You're bidding on a Lladro' entitled "Ceramic Seller Woman" and I've seen her referred to as "Girl Pottery Seller." This figure was issued in 1980 and retired in 1985. We can see no imperfections, the piece is in excellent condition. This information was from the Lladro website: 01005081 Description: CERAMICS SELLER WOMANIssue Year: 1980Height: 30 CM11¾"Retirement Year: 1985Sculptor: Juan Huerta If you look at the blue Lladro stamp on the underside of base, the "o" does not have the accent. According to "History, Marks & Manufacture," "The omission of the accent may seem minor, but it actually constitutes a misspelling leading to today's widespread mis-pronunciation of the name, even among Spanish-speakers. With the accent, the correct pronunciation stress falls on the second syllable. Without that accent, the normal stress would be on the first syllable, in Spanish as well as in English." The earlier Lladro's, up to roughly 1974, did not include the accent on the mark, but after that they did. That's why this piece is special and perhaps rare, in that it was produced when Lladro was including the accent on the "o", but this piece doesn't have it. We can clearly decipher on the base LLADRO then HAND MADE read more
