Lladro Thinker, Little Boy RARE matte finish retired #4876Up for auction is the Lladro porcelain figurine of a daydreaming boy sitting on a tree stump with a book in hand. His little night shirt is white with a collar. His feet dangle over the log that he is sitting on. The log has blue flowers or ivy cascading around the branch upon which he has his elbow resting. The soft pastel colors create an atmosp of complete serenity. I think it's official name is Thinker, Little Boy. This figurine was made in Spain, and the sculptor for this piece was Jose Roig. It was issued in 1974 and retired in 1991. It stands about 8.5" tall by 5" wide with a 3" base, and it displays the traditional LLADRO emblem on the bottom. This little boy is in mint condition with no chips, scratches or marks of any kind. The secondary market price for this figurine runs $265.00.
