Quite a few years ago I was an avid collector of Lledo Vanguard 1/43rd models and could claim to have most of those issued, including related ‘Promotional’ releases. I thinned my collection down some time ago, but a few of the rare and unusual models I kept back for no other reason than I couldn’t bring myself to pass them on! This box set is one such example – Commissioned in 2002 it was limited to just 5000 sets with all five models it contains being unique to this issue.The below images are of the actual set being auctioned and has never been displayed... This, like so many of my other models at the time went straight into the loft to remain there until now, forgotten + untouched. The models and presentation box, as you would expect are all in excellent, undamaged condition and come complete with certificate number 0203A very attractive and genuinely rare issue that will appeal to die-cast and police collectors alike and is a� poignant� reminder that the Lledo name no longer exists post being taken over by Corgi.
