......Builder's Plate replica from the Rock Island Steam Locomotive # 905.... A perfect Christmas Gift or a momento for yourself Do you have someone who has everything, or wants nothing? I did...my Parents, and still do....my Parents-in-laws. All nice people, but impossible to buy for.....almost impossible. Almost every one of them remember the age of steam fondly. They and anyone else who likes railroading would like to own this.......at the same time be helping to restore this old iron horse. This plate is 4 inches wide by 2 inches high with a 1/4 inch lip on the bottom to attach it to the wooden base. The base is wood, 4 inches wide, 1 1/2 inch deep and 3/4 inch high. When put together (it will come that way), it is 2 7/8 inches high, 1 1/2 inches deep and 4 inches wide. The front of the plate doesn't have the "905" road number on it. The numbers were given to each loco by the current owner and not the builder. The plate back does, and lists the specifics for the "905". Listed are: read more
