Up for auction is a magnificient art nouveau style vase ...I believe this to be made by Loetz glass. I'am not very familiar with this type of glass and tried to research this piece. However, this is an unsigned vase, but I did come across a magazine article by the Kovels which does describe this vase as being made by Loetz. This hand blown vase has a smooth pontil on bottom. Gold iridescent glass with oil spot splatters throughout the vase. The vase is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. T are many black pitted marks which you can see in my pictures. I've noticed another vase like this listed on Ebay also has these black pits. It seems to be normal with the glass. It measures 4 1/2' tall, 5 3/4" at its widest point and opening is 4 3/4" at its widest. Please feel free to email with any questions.
